Class: The Practical Cyclist

Great event at Just Food:

Taught by “Practical Cyclist” Bill Ostrem, this class will be held on Tuesday, September 9 at 7 p.m. in the Just Food Event Space. Please preregister by calling 650-0106 or with a cashier.

Designed for those who want to replace car trips with cycling trips or simply travel sustainably and enjoyably, this classroom-based course will examine the advantages of cycling; potential obstacles; equipment and strategies; selected safety issues; and cycling advocacy. It is not intended to be a road skills course.

Bill knows his stuff and biking is a great form of transportation.  Especially on an Africabike.

Hey, Monkey Man, you got any bikes for those of us with four legs?

  2. monkeyread Says:

judging from your size Barry, I’d say you could ride in the basket of an Aficabike no problem.
